Continuation secured ahead of schedule

After creditors were satisfied with the third and final installment on November 18, 2025, and all business areas developed successfully as planned, Brucha GmbH was able to end its restructuring proceedings ahead of schedule.

“After this difficult period, we are truly grateful and relieved that our customers, suppliers, and above all our employees have remained so loyal to us, enabling us to pay our creditors almost six months earlier than planned,” reports managing director and owner Josef Brucha.

The leading Lower Austrian company had run into difficulties in 2024 due to a failed growth strategy after Corona and internal mistakes made by the former management, and had slipped into restructuring proceedings. These proceedings have now been concluded under self-administration with the remaining debts being discharged.

“We now expect further positive momentum due to the removal of restrictions on corporate customers. We also hope that we have now completely dispelled all negative rumors. Unfortunately, there was also a lot of fearmongering against us on the market,” reports Brucha.

Despite the challenging construction market, the restructuring was mainly due to positive demand in the domestic market. Business in North America, Germany, and Hungary was also an important success factor for Brucha. However, the company continues to impose austerity measures on itself.

"We are constantly looking for ways to simplify our processes and make ourselves even more efficient. Especially in international competition, we cannot just rest on our product quality and our reputation as a quality manufacturer.

“That's why we have a number of innovations in the pipeline,” says Rainer Lichtenberger, also managing director of Brucha GmbH. “The innovations will be rolled out gradually over the next few months. However, the focus of our strong team is and will remain on personal support and customer satisfaction.”
